About The Walk

 The NOVA 1-2-3 Recovery Walk is held in September during National Recovery Month, which focuses attention on recovery from substance abuse disorders through treatment programs. Proceeds from this event will support NOVA Treatment Community's Residential, Outpatient and Foster Care programs.

Choose a one- two- or three-mile walk around Heartland of America Park Lagoon! Enjoy prizes, refreshments, and entertainment!

Prizes:

Raise $75: walk pedometer
Raise $125: filtered water bottle
Raise $200: prize drawings**
Raise $300: prize drawings**
Raise $400: prize drawings**


Date of the Event: Saturday, September 24th, 2011
Registration: 8:30 a.m. | Welcome, Warm-Up & Walk: 9:30 a.m.
Where: Heartland of America Park Lagoon | 251 S 8th St., downtown, Omaha, NE
Entry Fee: $25 per individual | $15 per child 12 and under | Includes t-shirt, if registered by September 9, 2011 (T-shirts may not be available if registering on day of event)

* Please, no pets, rollerblades, or skateboards!

** Types of prizes will vary but include gift cards and admission to Omaha events or museums
